The dark creature, the slaughter incarnate, the one their accursed tongues twist into the perverse pronunciation Crew-ick, he waits, deep and terrible, for new blood so foolish as to wander into his swamps. They told you to turn back but now you are left to wonder - what will be left of you to bury - and will anyone survive long enough to bring those paltry remains home?

Each holds a bloodstained Ozark in their brume-rotted hands, a fetid shape rising up behind them, sloughing off flesh until the broken human beneath is revealed. The cracked smile, the deranged eyes, the seeping crown-shaped wound upon his forehead...
